At first when I heard about partnering up with someone, I thought it was going to be fairly awkward. But as soon as I sat next to her, we hit it off very quickly. She has a perfect smile, and I was so glad none of us were bored or uninterested in talking to one another.

I found Shanice to be a very interesting person. She comes from a diverse background, and embraces it in her everyday life. She was also open about her family’s history- and it was very interesting for me to see things from a different perspective.

I can tell just from talking to her for 2 days that she is very passionate about basketball and her family. It was very nice meeting her and talking to her.

​

Based on my first impression of her, I can tell that she is a great public speaker- she has a beautiful voice and can easily speak in front of a crowd. She is also very good with eye contact, and very confident with herself. She would make a great friend- she has a lot of emphathy and one can trust her with everything!

We also met during per 8 a couple times, and talked for a while. Even then, it was not weird or awkward at all- we  casually started talking like we’d known each other for a while. Additionally, even though I am really bad at names, I always remembered her name- and even complimented her on it because it is just so pretty!
